This verse from a poem by Emily Dickinson stands like a leading motif above the artwork of Carola und Mario Kassner, because they lead us with their pictures to cosmic worlds only fantasy can travel to. Their imagination is coming out of a creative diversity that seems to have no boundaries.

For Carola Kassner art is an extension of her musical expression, as she too is a composer and performer, specialized in Space Music. Her records „Planetary Voyage" and „The Space Experience" (you can order both CDs in our shop) also lead the listeners into the universe and accompany them to fantasy

journeys through time and space.

Mario Kassner has many experiences as an artist. He started as a porcelain painter at the Royal Porcelain Manufacture in Berlin (KPM), but soon he left to realize his own ideas from modern porcelain design to paintings in oil and acrylic colour as well as airbrush. He showed his artistic work on many exhibitions and in his own gallery in Berlin. After his job training as a computer programmer and multimedia

designer he works now as computer artist and graphics designer.

After many years of experience with traditional techniques both artists now prefer digital artwork (2D- and 3D-graphics and animations), which often works much better for Space Art. The so created images have much more atmospheric depth which is essential for the creation of alien surroundings and

the visualisation of cosmic wonders.
